• • In this role, you will architect and build automation systems designed to manage complex insurance servicing tasks end-to-end, including policy endorsements, cancellations, document uploads, and reinstatements. You will also focus on strategies to reduce policy cancellations, enhance renewal rates, and ensure users consistently receive optimal coverage.
• • You'll operate within fast-paced sprint cycles, with the expectation of shipping new automations in an average of 1-2 weeks. This involves composing robust backend business logic that adheres to intricate insurance carrier rules and designing sophisticated backend pipelines for syncing customer policy data, delivering timely alerts, and powering seamless re-shopping experiences.
• • A key responsibility will be optimizing and scaling our internal tools, akin to an in-house DocuSign for servicing, with the aim of minimizing agent intervention to near zero. You will collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering operations teams to proactively identify and mitigate churn, thereby improving customer retention.
• • You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our backend systems, APIs, and microservice architecture, working asynchronously across different time zones. While meetings are minimal, strong collaboration is maintained through platforms like Asana and Slack.
