• As a Staff Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and scaling the robust APIs and sophisticated data layers that our customers depend on daily. Your work will directly contribute to their ability to combat illicit activities, effectively manage risk, and strategically navigate the dynamic cryptocurrency landscape. We are seeking engineers who possess a deep understanding of cloud-native technologies and can leverage this expertise to enable our customers to push the boundaries of what's possible in the Web3 and crypto ecosystem.
• The Hexagate team is dedicated to building a high-performance product that tackles the challenges of real-time blockchain analysis. This involves a diverse and cutting-edge technological stack, including real-time blockchain scanners, large-scale data pipelines, and advanced systems for detecting and analyzing malicious behaviors and actors on the blockchain. Your primary focus will be on proactively alerting and protecting digital assets in real-time, ensuring the integrity and security of the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
• In this role, you will be empowered to take end-to-end ownership of new features, from conception and design through to deployment and ongoing maintenance. You will collaborate within a small, agile, and fast-moving team environment, where a commitment to writing excellent, high-quality code is paramount. • Your responsibilities will encompass the design and development of highly performant and highly available cloud-native software solutions. Your work will ensure the platform remains flexible, scalable, and resilient, capable of handling the increasing complexity and volume of blockchain transactions.

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience in backend engineering, with a strong focus on cloud-native application development.
• Proven track record of designing and developing high-scale, distributed applications.
• Demonstrated experience in building and architecting microservice-based applications.
• Technical expertise in object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Rust.
• Experience driving technical decisions within fast-paced and high-functioning engineering teams.
