📋 Description

• • Architect the backbone of Genesis AI’s research-to-production pipeline. You will design, build, and maintain foundational frameworks and tools that allow our world-class researchers and engineers to move from whiteboard sketches to production-grade AI systems in days, not months.
• • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of platform components—from initial design and rapid prototyping to rigorous load testing, staged rollouts, and long-term reliability. Your code will be the first thing every new experiment touches and the last line of defense before code reaches millions of users.
• • Partner daily with domain experts in vision, NLP, robotics, and reinforcement learning. You will translate deeply technical research requirements into clean, modular abstractions that can be reused across teams, eliminating duplicate work and accelerating the entire organization.
• • Hunt for systemic friction. Whether it’s a brittle experiment-tracking schema that causes silent data loss or a CI pipeline that takes 40 minutes to run unit tests, you will spot the bottlenecks, quantify their cost, and lead cross-team initiatives to eliminate them—often rolling out changes that affect hundreds of repos with zero downtime.
• • Champion code health at scale. Through rigorous design reviews, automated linting, and internal tech talks, you will raise the bar for readability, testability, and observability. Expect to write the style guides that future engineers quote and the internal libraries that become the gold standard.
• • Build the next generation of internal tooling. From real-time experiment dashboards that surface anomalies before they skew results, to compiler plug-ins that auto-generate GPU-optimized kernels, your tools will shave hours off every researcher’s week and turn “impossible” experiments into weekend hacks.
• • Influence product direction. By sitting at the intersection of research, engineering, and product, you will surface patterns in experimental data that reveal new product opportunities and help leadership prioritize the bets with the highest scientific and commercial upside.
• • Foster a culture of psychological safety and relentless curiosity. You will mentor senior and junior engineers alike, pair-program on gnarly refactors, and run internal hackathons that turn wild ideas into patent-worthy breakthroughs.
• • Ensure security and compliance by design. You will embed privacy-preserving techniques and SOC-2-ready audit trails into every layer of the platform, enabling global deployment without slowing innovation.
• • Stay on the cutting edge. Evaluate bleeding-edge open-source projects, incubate promising prototypes, and decide what becomes a core dependency versus what stays a research spike—balancing visionary ambition with pragmatic maintainability.
