- • Own the technical post-sale lifecycle for 1Password’s most strategic and complex enterprise accounts, guiding customers from onboarding through adoption, expansion, and renewal.
- • Lead technical implementations including SSO, SCIM, SAML, OAuth integrations, device posture configuration, and security reviews aligned with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliance standards.
- • Act as the primary technical advisor for customers on identity, access management, and SaaS security, translating complex technical concepts into clear business value for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- • Partner closely with Customer Success Managers to proactively identify churn risks, uncover expansion opportunities, and maximize customer value across the full 1Password ecosystem.
- • Contribute to strategic customer health reviews and success planning, ensuring long-term retention and product adoption.
- • Mentor fellow Technical Account Managers and support team enablement by developing playbooks, knowledge base content, and scalable processes to improve team performance and customer outcomes.
- • Serve as the escalation point for highly complex technical challenges and critical customer issues, providing expert-level resolution and guidance.
- • Represent the customer voice internally by collaborating with Product, Marketing, and Support teams to influence product roadmaps and improve customer experience.
- • Assist leadership in team operations including call assignments, technical 1:1s, and co-leading team meetings as a senior individual contributor.
- • Create and maintain customer-facing resources such as implementation guides, best practice documentation, and training materials to scale impact across the customer base.
- • Occasionally represent 1Password at customer meetings, industry events, or team offsites, with occasional travel required to locations in Canada, USA, or EMEA.
- • Leverage AI tools daily to enhance customer engagement, automate routine tasks, and deliver proactive insights that drive faster decision-making and improved outcomes.
- • Stay current on evolving identity and access management trends, particularly as they relate to AI agents and modern hybrid work environments, and advise customers on how 1Password’s solutions adapt to these changes.
- • Drive continuous improvement of team processes, metrics, and models based on research, customer feedback, and industry best practices.
- • Maintain deep expertise in 1Password’s product suite and related technologies including MDM and device posture tools, and apply this knowledge to optimize customer deployments.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Technical Account Manager, Solutions Engineer, or Implementation Consultant) within a SaaS or security-focused B2B environment
- • Fluent in German, both written and spoken
- • Extensive experience with modern security frameworks and identity protocols (SSO, SCIM, SAML, OAuth) and compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR)
- • Proven ability to lead technical onboarding and implementation for complex enterprise customers
- • Strong experience mentoring peers, shaping enablement, and improving customer lifecycle processes
- • Deep familiarity with AI technologies and ability to advise customers on evolving product roadmaps
