  • • As an Implementation Specialist at Ashby Inc., you will be at the forefront of our customer's journey, playing a pivotal role in ensuring their successful adoption and integration of our cutting-edge B2B SaaS solution. This strategic position within our Professional Services team, part of the broader Customer Success organization, is designed for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving tangible value from day one. You will be entrusted with managing and executing the complete end-to-end implementation lifecycle for a diverse portfolio of new customers, with a particular focus on our Strategic (predominantly Enterprise) segment.
  • • Your primary objective will be to empower our customers by providing them with a robust foundation and a clear, actionable roadmap for leveraging Ashby. This involves meticulously developing and executing tailored implementation plans that not only ensure a positive and seamless customer experience but also expedite their time to value. You will be the trusted advisor, guiding clients through the complexities of integrating Ashby into their existing workflows and systems, ensuring they can swiftly achieve their desired business outcomes and realize the full potential of our platform.
  • • A core aspect of this role is your ability to manage multiple complex implementation and onboarding projects concurrently. In a high-growth B2B SaaS environment, you will be responsible for defining project scope, aligning with key stakeholders, communicating comprehensive project plans, and diligently delivering results that meet or exceed agreed-upon expectations. Your project management acumen will be crucial in keeping all parties on track and ensuring that project milestones are met efficiently and effectively. Operating in a remote-first setting, you will need to be highly organized and self-motivated, with the flexibility to travel occasionally (less than 10%) for critical strategic customer engagements.
  • • Technical proficiency is paramount. You will need to possess a strong understanding of complex, configurable B2B SaaS products and their intricate technical nuances. This includes familiarity with platforms that feature multi-step workflows, support several core business processes, and integrate with other enterprise systems. Your technical curiosity and creative problem-solving skills will be essential in navigating these complexities and devising innovative solutions for our customers. While direct experience with Ashby or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite; we value a strong aptitude for learning and adapting to new technologies.
  • • Customer centricity is at the heart of this role. You will excel at deeply understanding customer needs, challenges, and objectives, and then skillfully tailoring implementation strategies to meet their specific requirements. Building and nurturing strong customer relationships is key, achieved through consistent, high-level engagement and transparent communication. You will act as the customer's proactive guide, advocate, and trusted partner throughout the entire implementation period, ensuring their voice is heard and their needs are met.
  • • You will also be instrumental in navigating change management processes. Helping customers adapt to new systems, embrace refreshed approaches, and overcome potential resistance to change will be a significant part of your responsibilities. Your ability to facilitate smooth transitions and foster user adoption will directly contribute to the long-term success of our clients.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve advising customers on best practices specific to their unique usage of the Ashby software. By sharing your expertise and insights, you will ensure they are maximizing the value derived from our platform and achieving optimal results. This proactive guidance helps to solidify our partnership and demonstrates our commitment to their ongoing success.
  • • Critical thinking and a solutions-oriented mindset are vital. You will be expected to proactively identify thematic customer opportunities, challenges, and areas for improvement within our implementation processes. Rather than relying on established methods, you will be encouraged to think critically and develop innovative, scalable solutions that benefit both our customers and Ashby Inc. This continuous improvement ethos is central to our operational philosophy.
  • • Effective cross-functional collaboration is essential. You will work closely with various internal teams, including Customer Success Managers, Sales representatives, Product Managers, Engineering teams, and Operations specialists. Aligning efforts, defining clear progress markers, and ensuring seamless handoffs are crucial for delivering a unified and exceptional customer experience.
  • • You will be a clear communicator, adept at asking precise clarifying questions and distilling complex technical concepts into easily understandable themes for diverse audiences. Your listening skills will be exceptional, enabling you to effectively represent the voice of the customer to internal stakeholders, thereby influencing the evolution of our offerings. You will thrive on solving intricate challenges with innovative and scalable solutions, understanding that process optimization is key to enhancing efficiency and efficacy.
