đź“‹ Description
- • As the Strategic Product Manager, GenAI at College Board, you will serve as the critical bridge between high-level generative AI strategy and on-the-ground execution, owning a portfolio of internal GenAI products and experiments from discovery through implementation to drive measurable organizational impact and enable scaled adoption across Talent, Technology, and Strategy teams.
- • Day to day, you will translate business problems into technically feasible GenAI solutions with clear hypotheses and success metrics, manage end-to-end launches from prototype to scale, lead user research to identify high-friction points in employee workflows, and act as the primary strategist for the AI Champions network to foster peer-to-peer training and decentralized adoption.
- • You will join the GenAI Studio, College Board’s internal innovation engine launched in 2024, a cross-functional, entrepreneurial team spanning Strategy and Technology divisions that accelerates experimentation and builds staff capacity with purpose and care to deliver ethical, real-world AI applications that serve students, educators, and members.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in responsible AI by design, gain hands-on experience evaluating emerging GenAI technologies with metrics on quality, safety, latency, and cost, and strengthen your ability to drive behavioral change and organizational adoption through evidence-based decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and change management.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner leading digital product implementations in AI and/or automation-centered solutions, driving strategy, roadmaps, and prioritized backlogs from discovery through delivery.
- • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, partnering with engineering/ML, design, and research, writing crisp requirements and negotiating technical/product tradeoffs.
- • Strong stakeholder engagement and change management abilities, including communicating scope, milestones, releases, and risks, and driving adoption and behavior change across teams.
- • Experience leading enterprise-wide transformations and/or internal tool adoptions, with a clear understanding that shipping is only half the work and adopting is the other half.
- • Commitment to responsible AI by design, embedding privacy, security, accessibility, and compliance into all product decisions and documenting mitigations and guardrails.
- • Ability to travel 4-5 times a year to College Board offices or on behalf of College Board business.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive hiring range of $80,000 – $157,000, with salary determined by location, experience, and internal equity.
- • Opportunity to work on mission-driven initiatives that expand educational and career opportunities for students and educators through ethical AI innovation.
- • Access to a supportive team and comprehensive benefits package designed to help you thrive as part of a self-sustaining nonprofit committed to fair and competitive compensation.
