Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Lead end-to-end execution of long-term strategic healthcare projects that directly impact customer experience and Metriport’s position in the U.S. healthcare interoperability landscape.
- • Navigate complex legal, technical, and compliance frameworks governing health data exchange across national and state regulatory environments.
- • Identify and drive internal initiatives that can be resolved through strategic partnerships, ensuring alignment with customer needs and organizational goals.
- • Ruthlessly prioritize tasks to ensure resources are focused on the highest-impact activities, constantly aligning priorities with company objectives.
- • Build consensus among diverse stakeholders by mapping incentives, understanding constraints, and influencing leadership-level decisions without formal authority.
- • Anticipate future blockers in project timelines and proactively design solutions before they become obstacles to progress.
- • Solve complex, multi-constraint problems using sound judgment, structured reasoning, and data-informed narratives to guide decision-making.
- • Translate deep product knowledge—both technical and non-technical—into clear requirements and considerations for strategic initiatives.
- • Maintain exceptional organizational discipline to keep internal and external stakeholders on schedule; missed deadlines are personally unacceptable.
- • Operate with high autonomy: take ambiguous objectives, break them into actionable steps, identify the most efficient path forward, and execute without oversight.
- • Engage effectively with finance, data, compliance, and engineering teams by asking informed questions and escalating appropriately when needed.
- • Work from Metriport’s South Beach office in San Francisco; relocation to SF is required for this role.
- • Embody the Metriport mindset: low ego, high ownership, and a bias for rapid execution—ask "Why can’t this be done in 3 days?" instead of accepting prolonged timelines.
- • Ensure all projects contribute to measurable outcomes that enable healthcare customers to deliver better patient care.
- • Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to align strategic initiatives with product capabilities and roadmap constraints.
- • Maintain awareness of evolving healthcare IT standards, regulations, and industry trends to position Metriport as a forward-thinking interoperability platform.
- • Own accountability for project deliverables, timelines, and outcomes without relying on hierarchical oversight.
- • Balance speed and precision: move quickly without sacrificing compliance, accuracy, or stakeholder alignment.
- • Contribute to a culture of sustainable intensity: work hard, manage energy wisely, and take ownership of personal work-life balance.
- • Participate in quarterly company off-sites to strengthen team cohesion and strategic alignment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of project management, business operations, or MBB consulting experience
- • 3+ years of experience within healthcare interoperability
