📋 Description

• As a Strategy Associate at Rain Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s global expansion through mergers, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives, directly contributing to Rain’s mission of making stablecoins usable in real-world financial transactions across borders.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting detailed due diligence on M&A opportunities worldwide, designing complex financial models to evaluate acquisition targets, standardizing evaluation policies and practices, performing financial, legal, and commercial research, supporting contract negotiations, coordinating internal teams, staying updated on relevant regulations, preparing stakeholder presentations, and collaborating with finance and legal on tax planning for potential expansions.
• You will join Rain’s corporate development team—a lean, high-impact group at the forefront of the company’s market expansion and strategic relationship-building, operating within an open, flat structure that empowers individuals to shape their growth and influence company vision.
• In this role, you will develop deep expertise in cross-border M&A, financial modeling, and strategic corporate development while gaining exposure to top-tier investors and cutting-edge fintech and crypto infrastructure, positioning you for significant professional growth and impact at a hypergrowth company.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience in financial services, particularly in investment banking or private equity
• Top-level financial modeling skills
• Experience preparing presentations and documents that present complex topics in structured and succinct ways
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage projects from inception to close
• Extensive deck making and modeling experience
