• • As a Strategy & Operations Engineer at HappyRobot, you will be instrumental in systematically eliminating manual work across the entire organization. This pivotal role operates at the nexus of engineering and business operations, with the core objective of designing, building, and owning internal systems and automations. Your work will replace ad hoc processes and administrative burdens with scalable, robust technical solutions, creating durable leverage for the company.
• • Your responsibilities will encompass identifying manual, repetitive, and error-prone operational workflows throughout HappyRobot. You will then design and implement internal tools, sophisticated automations, and lightweight services to automate these identified processes. This will involve integrating disparate systems across key departments such as finance, sales, procurement, legal, and customer support, ensuring a smooth flow of information and operations.
• • You will be expected to write production-quality scripts, services, and automations, which may include developing APIs, setting up cron jobs, building data pipelines, and creating internal dashboards. A significant aspect of this role is owning operational systems end-to-end, from initial design and development through to deployment, ongoing monitoring, and iterative improvements. This requires a proactive approach to system maintenance and enhancement.
• • A key outcome of your work will be the analysis of operational data to pinpoint high-leverage improvement opportunities and to rigorously measure the impact of your implemented solutions. By automating processes and designing efficient systems, you will directly contribute to reducing the company's dependency on manual administrative tasks and headcount.
