  • • The Student Intern, Communications and Marketing role supports the Foundation for California Community Colleges in amplifying its impact by assisting the Communications and Marketing Services team in crafting narratives, managing social media, and ensuring consistent brand representation across platforms.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in content strategy and planning, creating content for social media, newsletters, reports, and event materials, managing social media calendars, drafting press releases, supporting email communications, conducting research on industry trends, and helping plan and execute special events.
  • • The Foundation for California Community Colleges is a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the California Community College system—the largest and most diverse higher education system in the nation—by improving student experience and expanding pathways to economic and social mobility through collaboration with public and private partners.
  • • The intern will gain hands-on experience in communications, marketing, and design within a fast-paced nonprofit environment, develop professional skills in content creation and project management, and contribute to meaningful initiatives that impact millions of students across California.
