Based anywhere in the United States or Canada, you will become an integral part of the Calix Office of Sustainability, contributing directly to real-world environmental, social, and governance (ESG) challenges.
• • As a Sustainability Intern, you will gain invaluable hands-on experience, working closely with the Executive Vice President of Sustainability. Your responsibilities will span a diverse range of impactful projects, including the meticulous measurement of greenhouse gas emissions, the innovative utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations, and contributing to comprehensive sustainability reporting.
• • This role offers a unique chance to deepen your understanding of sustainability tools and platforms, master the intricacies of ESG assessment completion, and hone your cross-organizational communication skills. You will be encouraged to learn and navigate new online platforms, conduct thorough research into best practices, refine processes, and grapple with complex business scenarios. A significant focus will be placed on understanding and preparing for relevant ESG regulatory requirements and the methodologies behind ESG assessor scoring, providing you with a competitive edge in this rapidly growing field.
