- • Own and drive all aspects of operations at Verse Medical, including clinician, patient, payor, and internal-facing operations, ensuring seamless execution across the business.
- • Analyze operational data to identify key performance levers and translate insights into clear, measurable goals aligned across all departments.
- • Design, implement, and refine repeatable, scalable processes for all critical operational functions to eliminate ambiguity and inefficiency.
- • Identify and remediate operational gaps lacking structure or clear ownership, establishing standardized workflows to improve reliability and quality.
- • Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to convert operational bottlenecks into high-impact automation initiatives and workflow enhancements.
- • Guide strategic tradeoffs between manual processes, process redesign, risk stratification, automation, and product investments to optimize throughput, cost, and compliance.
- • Build and lead a strong operational leadership layer by managing managers and cultivating a culture of high standards, clear ownership, and rigorous follow-through.
- • Reduce CEO dependency on day-to-day operational execution by creating systems that proactively diagnose and resolve issues before they escalate into emergencies.
- • Strengthen cross-functional alignment and execution across Ops, Clinical, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Finance, and Compliance teams.
- • Ensure all operational activities comply with regulatory requirements in the healthcare space while maintaining high-quality patient and clinician experiences.
- • Drive a culture of transparency, direct feedback, and rapid iteration, aligning team behaviors with Verse’s core values of honesty, empathy, and focused intensity.
- • Implement metrics and operating cadences that enable data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across all operational domains.
- • Scale operations at top decile growth rates in a highly complex, regulated healthcare environment while maintaining unit economics and service quality.
- • Serve as the primary operational leader reporting directly to the CEO, acting as the central node for operational integrity across the organization.
- • Foster a workplace culture that reflects the diversity of the patients Verse serves, promoting inclusion, belonging, and equitable outcomes within the team.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of experience in operations, including proven experience scaling complex, high-volume operations
- • Extremely strong analytical and systems-thinking ability
- • Experience managing managers and building strong operational leadership layers
- • Ability to diagnose operational failure modes quickly and design durable fixes
- • Comfort operating in regulated environments
- • Ability to partner effectively with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Clinical, Compliance, RCM, CS, and Sales
