- • As a Systems Support Engineer at Altera (Harris Computer Systems Corporation), you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of application systems and databases that power Altera’s healthcare software development and QA environments, directly contributing to the delivery of innovative solutions that empower healthcare stakeholders to achieve world-class outcomes.
- • Day to day, you will provide premium client service by tracking and resolving ongoing technical issues, serving as the primary point of contact for application and database performance concerns, utilizing tools like AppDynamics to monitor and evaluate system health, identifying and driving resolution of bugs and performance bottlenecks, preparing technical and operational documentation, and participating in daily/weekly technical and leadership calls while working in a 24x7 rotational shift environment.
- • You will join a dedicated technical support team within Altera, a trusted provider of integrated clinical, financial, connectivity, and information solutions serving the largest healthcare client community, where your work directly enables seamless collaboration and exchange of critical patient information across the healthcare continuum.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise application support, gain hands-on experience with industry-leading monitoring tools (AppDynamics, LogicMonitor, NewRelic), strengthen your skills in Windows server administration, .NET-based applications, SQL database management, and ITSM platforms, while developing advanced troubleshooting capabilities for complex Level 2 issues and contributing to proactive alerting and operational workflows that improve system resilience.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3-5 years of experience in supporting and monitoring application/infrastructure systems
- • Experience with Application Performance Management tools such as AppDynamics, LogicMonitor, or NewRelic
- • Proficiency in Windows server infrastructure, .NET-based application support, IIS, worker processes, web config, certificate binding, and event logs
- • Intermediate to professional-level SQL skills including SQL jobs, queries, blocking, and Always On availability groups
- • Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Service Desk
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT
