• As a Talent Operations Associate, you will be instrumental in building and managing the operational infrastructure that underpins Valence's rapid growth and hiring success. This role serves as the central hub for people operations, AI-first systems, data management, and automation, enabling us to scale efficiently while maintaining an exceptionally high hiring standard. Every candidate journey, from initial contact to final offer, will be managed through the talent operations systems, with your direct involvement in ensuring a seamless and positive experience. You will be the custodian of all data points that inform our critical hiring decisions, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass the meticulous execution of hiring processes, including complex interview scheduling, managing logistical intricacies, maintaining the integrity and hygiene of our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), generating insightful reports, and designing optimized workflows, all within a deeply integrated AI-native framework. A key aspect of your role will be to ensure that our hiring managers are thoroughly prepared for each stage of the recruitment process, that candidates receive an unparalleled and high-quality experience, and that our hiring data is consistently clean, accurate, and readily usable for strategic decision-making.
• Furthermore, this position offers a unique blend of operational ownership and hands-on recruiting. You will actively participate in recruitment efforts, running searches and proactively sourcing candidates. This dual responsibility ensures that you gain firsthand experience with the systems you are building and refining, fostering a deep understanding of the user experience and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. By actively recruiting, you will uniquely understand the challenges and nuances of the talent acquisition process, enabling you to build and enhance the operational tools and processes that support it.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in talent operations, recruitment coordination, or a similar HR operations role, with a strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle.
• Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other HR technology tools, with a demonstrated ability to manage data integrity and generate reports.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for providing exceptional candidate experiences and collaborating effectively with hiring managers.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous process improvement.
• Experience with direct sourcing and candidate outreach is a plus.
