- • As the Team Lead for CDD Customer Risk Reviews Periodic Reviews in the EMEA region, you will be at the forefront of combating financial crime. This pivotal role involves spearheading a dynamic team responsible for conducting comprehensive periodic assessments of our global merchants. Your primary objective will be to ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and Adyen's internal risk thresholds, all while relentlessly optimizing operational effectiveness and efficiency.
- • You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and effective communication within your team, ensuring that performance is tracked, understood, and continuously improved. This involves setting clear objectives, monitoring progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing constructive feedback to drive individual and team growth.
- • A critical aspect of this role is seamless coordination and collaboration with key cross-functional stakeholders. You will actively engage with Compliance, Product, Commercial, and Regional Operational teams to co-create, shape, and implement cutting-edge solutions and strategic recommendations. - • Proactively stay ahead of the curve by closely monitoring regulatory changes and internal policy shifts. This foresight will enable you to identify emerging risk territories and establish robust controls to guarantee ongoing compliance and mitigate potential threats to Adyen and its merchants.
- • Drive tangible results by taking full ownership of the team’s KPIs. You will meticulously monitor progress, analyze performance data, and prepare impactful presentations for leadership. These presentations will showcase team achievements, outline strategic initiatives, and share key learnings, contributing to the broader organizational understanding of risk management.
- • Collaborate globally with your counterparts in different regions to ensure a consistent and standardized approach to the review process across all markets. This global perspective is crucial for maintaining Adyen's reputation and operational integrity worldwide.
- • Partner closely with the wider CDD (Customer Due Diligence) team to collectively shape, communicate, and powerfully execute the department's goals and key outcomes. Your contribution will be vital in driving the overall success and strategic direction of the CDD Department.
- • Work in tandem with the Quality Assurance (QA) function to identify performance trends, pinpoint training needs, and provide constructive feedback. This continuous feedback loop is designed to foster a culture of excellence and ensure that the team consistently operates at the highest standards.
