This hybrid role, based in our London (Moorgate) office, requires a balance of strong technical leadership and hands-on development, ensuring the successful end-to-end delivery of software projects.
• • You will be the primary driver for your team's success, responsible for motivating, unblocking, and holding engineers accountable while maintaining high morale and keeping delivery timelines on track. Your ability to foster open and transparent communication will be crucial, especially in our remote, hybrid, and in-person working environments.
• • A key aspect of this role involves providing meaningful mentorship and constructive feedback to help engineers grow their careers and technical skills. You will champion best practices in software development, establishing and upholding coding standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
• • You will collaborate closely with Tech Leads to ensure alignment on technical direction, architectural decisions, and the adoption of innovative solutions. This partnership is vital for maintaining a cohesive and forward-thinking engineering strategy across the organization.
• • Working in tandem with Product Managers, Designers, and QA professionals, you will align on product strategy and translate innovative ideas into well-executed features and products. Your engineering perspective will be invaluable in product decision-making, helping to strike the right balance between speed of delivery, quality, and long-term scalability.
• • Proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks before they impact the team's progress will be a core responsibility. This includes anticipating technical challenges, resource constraints, and dependencies to ensure smooth project execution.
