• • As a pivotal Player-Coach, you will spearhead a distributed team of Solutions Engineers across the EMEA and APAC regions, taking ownership of the technical strategy that fuels customer acquisition and expansion. This dynamic role places you at the critical intersection of Sales, Product, and Customer Success, ensuring our cutting-edge Identity Verification (IDV) platform is not only adopted but seamlessly integrated within diverse regulatory landscapes and the complex technological ecosystems of our enterprise clients.
• • Your leadership will be instrumental in building and nurturing a high-performing team. This involves actively participating in the hiring process to attract top talent, providing ongoing mentorship and professional development to your team members, and establishing robust, standardized methodologies for critical pre-sales activities such as technical discovery, compelling product demonstrations, and successful Proofs of Concept (POCs). You will foster an environment of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• • You will serve as the technical executive sponsor for our most high-stakes enterprise deals. This requires a deep understanding of client needs and the ability to strategically position Veriff's solutions. You will collaborate closely with the Sales team, acting as a trusted advisor to navigate intricate Know Your Customer (KYC), Know Your Business (KYB), and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) use cases, ensuring that our platform meets the stringent requirements of regulated industries.
• • A core responsibility involves guiding customers through the intricacies of API and SDK integrations. You will provide expert advice on optimizing the customer onboarding user experience (UX), designing effective fraud orchestration strategies, and fine-tuning risk thresholds to balance security with usability. Your architectural guidance will be crucial for successful implementation and long-term client satisfaction.
• • You will act as the vital "voice of the region" within Veriff, channeling insights and feedback from EMEA and APAC markets back to our Product and Engineering teams. This includes translating nuanced local regulatory requirements, such as GDPR, data residency laws, and other regional compliance mandates, into actionable product feedback and feature requests, thereby influencing the future development of our platform.
• • Driving operational excellence within the Solutions Engineering function is paramount. You will be responsible for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for your team, such as win rates on deals, POC conversion rates, and the overall time-to-go-live for new clients. By analyzing these metrics, you will identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.

• • You will foster a collaborative environment, working closely with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure a cohesive and exceptional customer journey from initial engagement through to successful implementation and ongoing support.
• • Your ability to articulate complex technical and regulatory concepts to C-suite executives, while simultaneously engaging with technical teams at a deep, granular level, will be a key differentiator in this role.
• • You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our internal processes, tools, and documentation to support the scaling of the Solutions Engineering team and Veriff's global operations.
