📋 Description

• As a Tech Lead iOS Engineer at BeReal, you will drive the technical vision and architecture of a globally used social media app that promotes authentic, unfiltered sharing, directly impacting the experience of over 40 million monthly active users and contributing to Voodoo’s mission of entertaining the world through innovative mobile products.
• You will lead end-to-end delivery of complex iOS features, mentor a team of engineers, uphold engineering excellence, and shape the future of the app by making high-impact technical decisions that balance speed, quality, and long-term sustainability while collaborating closely with product, design, and backend teams.
• BeReal operates as an international team of 100+ engineers, designers, and product specialists backed by Voodoo’s resources and scale, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and technical rigor in pursuit of building an iconic social network used by hundreds of millions.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in modern iOS technologies like SwiftUI and Swift Concurrency, grow as a technical leader by mentoring engineers and influencing architecture, and gain exposure to data-driven development, AI-assisted tooling, and large-scale systems that serve a global user base.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in iOS development with significant experience leading technical projects
• Strong expertise in Swift and SwiftUI with proven production experience
• Solid understanding of iOS architecture and system design at scale
• Experience in technical leadership, mentoring, and driving engineering best practices
• Strong product mindset with attention to detail in UX, animations, and interactions
• Ability to make pragmatic technical decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in data-driven development and analytics
• Highly autonomous, impactful, and results-oriented
• Fluent in English (French is a plus)
