• • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tech Lead with a strong background in Node.js and React to join our dynamic product development team. As a leading partner specializing in custom web and mobile application development, we pride ourselves on delivering innovative solutions for startups, scaleups, and global enterprises. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Prague, our team of over 85 tech professionals has successfully built and launched more than 65 products, driving product innovation for leading US companies. Our approach is AI-first, integrating AI tools like Figma MCP Server, Playwright MCP Server, and Cursor across our workflows, and we are continuously exploring remote AI agents to enhance our development capabilities.
• • In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in owning the technical buildout of our client products. You will lead a dedicated engineering team, typically comprising 3 to 7 engineers, and will be responsible for the overall software architecture and infrastructure. A key aspect of your role will involve close collaboration with Product Managers and Design Leads to ensure a unified vision and the seamless delivery of high-performing front-end experiences. Your ability to translate business needs into robust technical solutions will be crucial for the success of our projects, which include notable clients like Nasdaq Private Market, Blackpoint Cyber, and OpenLoop.
• • As a Tech Lead, you will foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, ensuring your engineers are motivated, engaged, and continuously developing their skills. You will be the technical authority, guiding the team through complex challenges and ensuring adherence to best practices. This leadership position requires a blend of hands-on development, strategic architectural planning, and effective people management. You will be empowered to select and update technologies that best suit client needs while aligning with our company’s high standards. Furthermore, you will play a vital role in the product discovery phase, assisting Product Managers in refining epics and user stories, ensuring they are well-defined, estimated, and prioritized in alignment with overarching business objectives.
• • Your responsibilities extend to being a hands-on contributor, actively participating in feature development alongside your team. Maintaining code quality through regular code reviews will be a critical part of your routine. You will oversee the entire software architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and security. Proactively identifying and implementing improvements to the development process and team efficiency will be highly valued. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to our internal AI Guild, sharing insights and experimenting with cutting-edge AI tools, and will be part of our Engineering Leads Council, where strategic technical decisions are made.
• • This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects, leveraging a modern tech stack including Typescript, Node.js, React/Next.js, React Native, GraphQL, tRPC, Material UI, Playwright, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Platform. We encourage the application of AI technologies such as HuggingFace API, LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI API), Langchain, and Vector Databases for RAG. Your technical leadership will directly impact the success of innovative products and contribute to the growth of exciting startups.
