- • As a Tech Recruitment Coordinator, you will be the linchpin of a fast-growing startup's hiring engine, ensuring a world-class experience for every candidate and driving operational excellence in talent acquisition. This role is critical in maintaining the speed and efficiency required to attract and onboard top-tier global talent, directly impacting the company's ability to scale and innovate at the intersection of artificial intelligence and the sciences. You will be instrumental in shaping the candidate journey, acting as the primary point of contact and operational backbone for all recruitment activities, ensuring a seamless progression from application to offer.
- • Your day-to-day will be a dynamic blend of meticulous coordination and proactive problem-solving. A significant portion of your time, approximately 45%, will be dedicated to Candidate Pipeline Coordination. This involves managing the entire lifecycle of candidates across numerous open roles within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring every step is executed with precision. You will be responsible for scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling interviews with exceptional speed and accuracy, often juggling multiple calendars and time zones. A key aspect of this will be diligently tracking candidate progress, identifying potential bottlenecks before they impact the hiring timeline, and proactively communicating updates, feedback, and rejection notices to candidates in a timely and professional manner. You will also serve as the first point of contact for candidate inquiries, providing prompt and helpful responses throughout their application journey.
- • Another 25% of your role will focus on Recruiting Operations Support. In this capacity, you will act as the crucial liaison between the recruiting team and internal hiring stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on hiring needs and progress. Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date candidate database within the ATS is paramount, providing reliable data for reporting and decision-making. As the recruiting function scales, you will support recruiting leadership by managing and transitioning workflows smoothly. Your proactive approach will be essential in escalating any blockers or delays that could impede hiring momentum, ensuring that the recruitment process remains on track.
- • A vital 20% of your responsibilities will be dedicated to Process Automation & Workflow Optimization. This is where you can truly make an impact by identifying opportunities to automate repetitive recruiting tasks, freeing up valuable time for recruiters to focus on strategic sourcing and candidate engagement. You will critically evaluate which processes are best suited for automation versus those that require a human touch, ensuring efficiency without sacrificing quality. Your role will involve improving and refining existing workflows to enhance efficiency and consistency across the board. You will be encouraged to proactively propose and implement process improvements, leveraging technology and best practices to streamline operations.
- • Finally, 10% of your focus will be on Communication & Candidate Experience. This overarching responsibility ensures that every candidate interaction reflects positively on the company brand. You will deliver professional, engaging, and clear communication across all candidate touchpoints, both written and verbal. Ensuring timely updates, managing scheduling changes gracefully, and delivering feedback promptly are all part of creating a superior candidate experience.
