📋 Description

• As a Technical Implementation Specialist at GovWorx, you will play a critical role in deploying and maintaining AI-enabled systems used daily by public safety professionals, ensuring emergency communications centers can effectively connect their telephony and CAD systems to secure cloud solutions.
• Day to day, you will install, configure, and maintain integrations between customer telephony/audio systems and CAD platforms; troubleshoot audio connections, SIP signaling, and network issues using diagnostic tools; assist with hardware setup for audio/data ingestion; collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors; participate in on-call rotations; and travel up to 20% to customer sites for installations and testing.
• You will join the Technical Implementation and Customer Support teams at GovWorx, a company dedicated to helping public safety agencies overcome staffing challenges through its AI-powered CommsCoach platform that automates quality assurance, training, and real-time call evaluation for 9-1-1 and emergency communications centers nationwide.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in telephony systems, network troubleshooting, and mission-critical integrations while gaining direct impact in public safety — ensuring reliable, high-quality voice and data flow for first responders and dispatchers every day.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in IT, telecommunications, systems engineering, or technical services
• Hands-on experience with telephony and voice systems (VoIP, SIP, RTP, PBX platforms such as Cisco, Avaya, etc.)
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, NAT, VPNs, QoS)
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system, network, and audio issues in production environments
• Experience working in customer-facing roles, collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Must pass FBI CJIS fingerprint and criminal background checks at national and state levels
