📋 Description
- • Serve as the principal technical authority and trusted advisor on complex client engagements within the Network and Edge Security domain, with a specialized focus on Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Security Service Edge (SSE) architectures.
- • Translate intricate business objectives and stringent security requirements into actionable, high-level technical architectures, strategic roadmaps, and detailed implementation plans. This includes a deep dive into SASE, SSE, Zero Trust, Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), and Firewall as a Service (FWaaS) ecosystems.
- • Lead the design and execution of sophisticated, multi-faceted security solutions, leveraging extensive hands-on expertise across leading SASE platforms such as Zscaler, Netskope, and Palo Alto Networks. Your technical acumen will span critical components including SWG, CASB, ZTNA, SD-WAN, and FWaaS, ensuring robust and integrated security postures.
- • Provide senior-level oversight and management for multiple concurrent consulting engagements, meticulously monitoring project health, identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring the highest quality of deliverables, and cultivating exceptional client satisfaction. This involves maintaining a keen alignment with both the technical intricacies and overarching business goals of each project.
- • Spearhead advanced troubleshooting initiatives and drive architectural refinements, expertly guiding clients through critical technical challenges, complex design decisions, and the practicalities of operationalizing new security solutions.

This involves close collaboration with Practice Managers, Sales teams, and Marketing to conceptualize innovative solution offerings, assist in the meticulous creation of Statements of Work (SOWs), and strategically enhance Optiv’s market leadership in SASE and SSE services.
- • Cultivate and disseminate thought leadership within the cybersecurity community. This can be achieved through presenting at prominent industry events, authoring insightful blog posts or research papers, and actively participating in relevant community forums and vendor-aligned programs.
- • Serve as a key mentor and coach to consulting team members, fostering the development of their technical expertise, enhancing their consulting acumen, and accelerating their delivery maturity. This influential leadership role is critical for team growth, even without direct reporting lines.
- • Maintain a vigilant awareness of the rapidly evolving network and edge security landscape. Stay abreast of market trends, advancements in vendor technologies, emerging threat vectors, and the latest industry best practices across SASE and SSE domains.
