• • The Technical Operations Specialist (TOPS) role at Interactive Brokers is critical to ensuring the stability and performance of the company’s global brokerage systems, which serve clients in over 200 countries. This position supports 24/7/365 monitoring and operational support for applications, networks, and systems that power electronic trading in stocks, options, futures, currencies, bonds, and funds.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring system health, analyzing and troubleshooting operational issues, participating in post-incident reviews with development and infrastructure teams, providing 2nd-level technical support, monitoring batch jobs, analyzing workflows, developing process monitoring tools, acting as the primary escalation point for technical issues, and investigating real-time trade issues with internal and external stakeholders.
