  • • As a seed-stage AI infrastructure startup, we are dedicated to powering large-scale training and inference for leading AI labs, innovative AI-native startups, and forward-thinking enterprises. We are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Sales Lead to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in leading technical discovery processes, executing world-class demonstrations, and managing Proofs of Concept (POCs). You will collaborate closely with our Sales team to drive successful evaluations and expansions within strategic accounts, ensuring our clients can leverage Andromeda's cutting-edge technology to achieve their AI goals.
  • • This is a pre-sales-focused position designed for an individual who excels at translating complex customer needs into clear, concise technical validation. You will be responsible for building deep trust with both executive leadership and engineering teams, and for establishing a robust, repeatable technical sales motion across our entire technology stack, encompassing both hardware and software solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in demonstrating the value and capabilities of Andromeda's platform to a diverse range of clients.
  • • Key Responsibilities:
  • • Partner strategically with the Sales team to meticulously qualify incoming opportunities, ensuring alignment with our target market and technical capabilities.
  • • Lead in-depth technical discovery sessions to fully understand customer challenges, objectives, and existing infrastructure.
  • • Design and deliver compelling, tailored demonstrations of our full-stack AI infrastructure, adapting messaging to resonate effectively with both highly technical engineers and executive decision-makers.
  • • Take ownership of the entire technical Proof of Concept (POC) process, from initial scoping and definition of success metrics to architectural design, timeline management, and ensuring alignment among all key stakeholders.
  • • Ensure seamless and successful handoffs of validated solutions into production environments, working closely with customer implementation teams.
  • • Cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key customer stakeholders, including engineering leaders, platform operations teams, and security infrastructure owners.
  • • Skillfully translate complex technical requirements into elegant solution designs that directly map to tangible business outcomes, such as improved latency, increased throughput, cost optimization, enhanced reliability, and robust security.
  • • Develop and produce high-quality technical enablement assets, including sophisticated demo environments, comprehensive evaluation playbooks, detailed reference architectures, and frequently asked questions (FAQs), to significantly scale the effectiveness and efficiency of the entire go-to-market team.
  • • Act as a critical conduit for feedback, providing high-signal insights to our Product, Engineering, and Research teams based on recurring customer objections, identified feature gaps, and evolving competitive landscapes. Your input will directly influence our product roadmap and strategic development.
  • • Drive the technical win in competitive evaluations by clearly articulating Andromeda's unique value proposition and technical differentiators.
  • • Contribute to the development of best practices and standardized methodologies for technical sales engagements.
  • • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and high-performance computing to maintain expert-level knowledge.
  • • Collaborate with marketing to ensure technical accuracy in collateral and messaging.
  • • Support the development of technical case studies and success stories based on successful customer engagements.
  • • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our sales engineering processes and tools.
  • • Champion the customer's technical perspective internally, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed by the broader organization.
  • • Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling based on a deep understanding of customer needs and our platform's capabilities.
  • • Assist in the development of training materials for new sales engineers and account managers on technical aspects of the platform.
  • • Ensure all technical engagements adhere to company security and compliance standards.
  • • Measure and report on the success of technical evaluations and POCs, providing insights into win/loss analysis.
  • • Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the technical sales team.
  • • Successfully navigate complex technical environments and build credibility with sophisticated engineering teams.
  • • Understand and articulate the total cost of ownership (TCO) and return on investment (ROI) for Andromeda's solutions.
  • • Effectively manage multiple concurrent evaluations and customer engagements, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
  • • Contribute to the development of competitive intelligence and market analysis related to AI infrastructure.
  • • Ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales support, fostering long-term customer success.
  • • Be a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through their AI infrastructure journey.
  • • Help shape the future of AI compute by providing critical feedback and insights from the front lines of customer engagements.
  • • Drive technical adoption and expansion within key strategic accounts, solidifying Andromeda's position as a leader in AI infrastructure.
  • • Your success will be measured by the reliable conversion of POCs, driven by well-scoped, technically credible evaluations tied directly to customer ROI, and accelerated sales cycles through clear technical validation and strong stakeholder trust. Your demos and enablement assets will become repeatable foundations for the broader go-to-market team, significantly contributing to our growth and market leadership.
