- • The Technical Support Engineer at Veezu Limited delivers first-class onsite and remote technical support to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and application support in alignment with ITIL, ISO27001, and Cyber Essentials Plus standards.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include logging and managing user inquiries via call logging systems, conducting routine maintenance (antivirus compliance, security patches, image builds), supporting application-specific incidents, managing Active Directory user and security groups, and providing on-site support across UK locations for tasks such as PC builds, network upgrades, CCTV installations, and data centre work.
- • The role involves supporting company projects including acquisitions, site migrations, and infrastructure upgrades, managing technology asset lifecycle (tracking, storage, disposal), and maintaining SLA/KPI compliance with proactive escalation to senior IT management when needed.
- • Based at Veezu’s Cardiff HQ with approximately 40% travel time across UK and Ireland locations, the engineer works within a cohesive support team, provides on-call and out-of-hours support as required, and upholds the company’s commitment to information security, ethical standards, and service excellence.

🎯 Requirements
- • Demonstrated expertise in delivering technical support with experience in previous roles, particularly in PC, printer, networking, Microsoft suites, Active Directory, and security solutions.
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10/11 operating systems and hands-on experience with Google Mail/Office 365 environments.
- • Foundational understanding of ITIL principles and ISO27001 standards, with advantage given to those holding MCDST/A+ certification or equivalent.
- • Proven ability to manage user and security groups in Active Directory, construct and deploy OS images, and support major incident resolution with clear communication.
- • Strong interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and commitment to timelines and continuous learning.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, supported by a recognized English qualification or equivalent, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
