- • As a Technical Support Engineer at Horizon3.ai, you will play a critical role in ensuring customer success by diagnosing and resolving technical issues with the NodeZero platform, directly contributing to the company’s mission of enabling organizations to proactively identify and remediate security vulnerabilities before exploitation.
- • You will serve as a key technical resource for handling escalated customer issues, collaborating with engineering teams to analyze product behavior, access code repositories, and develop custom solutions such as API-based automation scripts and FastAPI-powered internal tools to enhance support workflows and customer experience.
- • Horizon3.ai is a remote-first, fast-growing cybersecurity company founded by former U.S. Special Operations cyber operators and security practitioners, dedicated to solving industry-wide challenges like alert fatigue, false positives, and skills shortages through autonomous penetration testing technology used by enterprises, government agencies, and MSSPs globally.
- • You will work within a collaborative, learn-it-all culture that values ownership, respect, and results, reporting to the Head of Global Support & Services while gaining deep exposure to product internals, cybersecurity principles, and cross-functional engineering practices.
- • In this role, you will develop advanced troubleshooting expertise, contribute to the self-service knowledge base, refine support processes, and build proficiency in Python, Linux, databases (Postgres/Neo4J), cloud platforms (AWS), and containerization (Docker), positioning you for growth into senior support, product engineering, or DevOps-focused technical roles.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- • 3-5 years of experience in technical support, software development, or operations with a focus on troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and customer issue resolution
- • Proficiency in Python programming, Linux administration, bash scripting, and experience with Postgres and Neo4J databases
- • Experience developing backend services using FastAPI and working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and Docker for deployment and scaling
- • Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
