📋 Description

• As a TechOps Engineer at Candid Health, you will treat internal IT infrastructure as a product, building automated systems that enable teams to solve complex healthcare challenges, transforming technical operations from a cost center into a driver of business value.
• You will scale onboarding and offboarding processes, lead high-impact projects like Apple MDM migration and Zero-Touch Enrollment, manage endpoint security via Jamf/Kandji and AutoPkg, enforce Zero Trust security through SSO and MFA, perform root-cause troubleshooting, and collaborate with Engineering, Security, and People Ops to deliver secure, efficient tools.
• Candid Health views Technical Operations as an engineering discipline focused on enabling teams tackling hard problems in the US healthcare system, with minimal hierarchy and a culture that values autonomy, action, and cross-functional partnership.
• You will develop expertise in enterprise Apple ecosystem management, Zero Trust security architectures, automation of IT lifecycle processes, and cross-functional stakeholder communication—gaining influence over tools and processes that scale with the company’s growth.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on Technical Operations or IT experience, preferably in a fast-paced tech startup or high-volume MSP environment
• Deep technical troubleshooting skills across macOS and hands-on experience managing Apple MDM tools (Jamf, Kandji, etc.) and packaging workflows (AutoPkg)
• Highly autonomous with a bias toward action—instinctively scripts or automates repetitive manual tasks
• Ability to translate complex technical or security concepts for non-technical stakeholders, from engineers to medical billers
• Strong awareness of compliance, data protection, and secure offboarding to safeguard patient data
