📋 Description
- • As a Translation Evaluator for Russian/English, you will assess AI-generated translations for accuracy, naturalness, and adherence to requested tone or style, playing a key role in improving language model outputs.
- • Your daily responsibilities include reading source conversations and translation requests, scoring translations on a 1–5 scale for accuracy, and rewriting or correcting translations that do not meet quality standards.
- • You will work with Appen Limited through its CrowdGen platform, contributing to AI data projects that enhance machine translation systems used globally.
- • This role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in linguistic evaluation, gain hands-on experience with AI training data workflows, and refine your skills in translation quality assurance within a flexible, remote environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Native fluency in both Russian and English
- • Ability to distinguish between high-quality and poor translations based on accuracy, fluency, and style
- • Detail-oriented with strong capacity to follow specific evaluation guidelines
- • Background in translation, linguistics, or a related language field
- • Prior experience with AI data projects or linguistic annotation tasks is preferred
