- • Own the complete design lifecycle for Finni Health’s clinician and parent-facing platform—from early discovery and user-journey mapping to pixel-perfect UI and post-launch iteration. You will be the single source of truth for every screen, interaction, and component.
- • Establish and evolve a lightweight but robust design system in Figma that scales with our product roadmap. Define color, typography, spacing, and component libraries so that every new feature ships faster and feels unmistakably “Finni.”
- • Translate complex clinical workflows into intuitive, anxiety-reducing experiences for parents and friction-free tools for clinicians. You’ll simplify multi-step insurance, scheduling, and care-plan processes into clear, guided flows that save time and reduce errors.
- • Run lightweight user-research sprints: craft discussion guides, recruit parents and clinicians, synthesize findings, and turn insights into actionable design iterations within days, not weeks.
- • Pair daily with engineers in Figma and GitHub, ensuring specs are technically feasible and implemented at high fidelity. You’ll review pull requests, annotate edge cases, and QA staging builds to guarantee the shipped product matches the vision.
- • Champion accessibility and inclusive design from day one. Audit components for WCAG 2.1 compliance, test with screen readers, and ensure every parent—regardless of device or ability—can navigate the platform confidently.
- • Build the cultural foundation for design at Finni. Create rituals like weekly design critiques, maintain a public roadmap of design debt, and document decisions so future teammates can ramp up quickly.
- • Contribute to product strategy by translating user pain points into feature proposals. You’ll join customer calls, analyze usage data, and present design-driven growth experiments to the leadership team.
- • Balance scrappy iteration with long-term vision. Ship an MVP in days when speed matters, then revisit and refine once we validate impact. Your bias for action will set the tone for the entire company.
- • Report directly to the Head of Product while working elbow-to-elbow with the CTO and a tight-knit engineering squad. Expect rapid feedback loops, direct access to leadership, and zero red tape.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–6 years of end-to-end product design (UI/UX) experience, preferably in a seed-to-Series B startup
- • Demonstrated strength in UX strategy—user flows, journey mapping, and usability testing—paired with polished UI craft
- • Proven track record of creating and maintaining scalable design systems in Figma
- • Proficiency in Figma’s advanced features (auto-layout, variants, interactive components) and ability to hand off specs that engineers love
- • Comfortable operating as a design generalist: discovery, wireframing, prototyping, visual polish, and QA
