- • UI/UX Designer role supporting federal government clients by designing enterprise software applications that are simple, intuitive, and satisfying to improve how the federal government works and delivers services.
- • Day to day, the designer will collaborate with product owners and researchers to discover and define product opportunities, then deliver solutions through iterative prototyping and testing, taking designs from concepts and wireframes through high-fidelity mockups and functional prototypes.
- • The role is embedded in a growing team of designers, researchers, and writers supporting federal healthcare IT projects, including work with the US Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
- • The designer will learn and achieve mastery in user-centered design processes, accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.0 AA/Section 508), Agile methodologies, design systems, and cross-functional remote collaboration while building a portfolio of impactful government-facing digital products.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or related field.
- • 3+ years of applied UX design experience in the software industry.
- • Ability to provide and present a portfolio demonstrating design process and deliverables.
- • Must reside in the US, be authorized to work in the US, and have resided in the US for 3 of the last 5 years.
- • Eligible for public trust clearance.
