- • Organize and coordinate the servicing of new and renewal insurance accounts in alignment with Company guidelines and underwriter instructions.
- • Enter new submissions into the company clearance system and process them according to established procedures.
- • Prepare and model new and renewal business under the direct supervision and direction of assigned underwriters.
- • Review policies, endorsements, audits, cancellations, and other policy modifications to identify and resolve discrepancies, making necessary corrections.
- • Process policy servicing requests including endorsements, audits, certificate issuance, premium finance notices, and cancellations.
- • Invoice and process new business binders, renewal binders, premium-bearing endorsements, and cancellations in compliance with internal and company guidelines.
- • Generate and issue cancellation and non-renewal notices in accordance with statutory and contractual requirements as directed by underwriters.
- • Manage underwriting files for accounts where policies have not been issued, ensuring adherence to company and internal procedures.
- • Maintain and update the pending/suspense tracking system following established protocols.
- • Keep all account files organized and compliant with company recordkeeping policies.
- • Demonstrate strong understanding of insurance policy components, classification principles, rating methodologies, contract administration, and property valuations.
- • Apply knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating practices to support accurate policy processing.
- • Utilize company automation systems to perform daily tasks efficiently and accurately.
- • Maintain current knowledge of evolving insurance industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
- • Develop and sustain excellent working relationships with clients through professional communication and responsive service.
- • Collaborate effectively within a team environment to meet departmental goals and service standards.
- • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office software products and other required digital tools.
- • Occasionally travel overnight as required by business needs.
- • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational efficiency and underwriting team objectives.
🎯 Requirements
- • College degree with a concentration in business or equivalent work experience
- • Ability to understand and analyze insurance policies and certificates
- • Strong knowledge of underwriting processes including classification, rating, contract administration, and property valuations
- • Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating
- • Ability to use company automation systems
- • Good written and verbal communication skills
