- • The US Legal Editor, AI Content Updating role at RELX PLC’s LexisNexis Legal & Professional division is pivotal in shaping how AI transforms legal content development by combining legal expertise with AI-enabled editorial tools to ensure authoritative US legal analysis remains accurate, current, and useful.
- • Day to day, the role involves recruiting and managing external author relationships, tracking legislative and case-law developments, using the Agentic Content Platform to refine AI-generated outputs, providing substantive edits for clarity and consistency, contributing to AI tool improvement, and aligning content with market needs through collaboration with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams.
- • LexisNexis Legal & Professional serves customers in over 150 countries with 11,800 employees worldwide and is a long-time leader in deploying ethical, powerful generative AI solutions in the legal market, prioritizing the best model from top creators for each legal use case to improve productivity and transform the practice of law.
- • In this role, the individual will deepen their expertise in legal publishing and AI integration, develop professional depth across multiple practice areas, sharpen editorial judgment in AI-assisted workflows, and gain experience driving content innovation at scale in a global information analytics leader.
🎯 Requirements
- • J.D. required
- • 1–5 years of legal practice, legal publishing, or comparable legal content development experience
- • Demonstrated ability to edit complex legal analysis for clarity, consistency, and voice
- • Confidence working with AI-enabled tools for legal research, document summarization, content drafting, and editorial review; skilled at crafting prompts, evaluating outputs, and iterating for optimal results
- • Ability to interpret market signals, customer feedback, and data to inform content initiatives and drive sustainable growth
- • Clear, positive communicator who thrives on collaborating with stakeholders, executes on commitments, and adapts quickly to change
