đź“‹ Description

  • • As a UX Designer - AI at MeridianLink, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital lending experiences by designing intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling user interfaces for online loan and account applications. Your work will directly impact how users navigate critical financial workflows, reducing friction and enhancing trust through thoughtful, human-centered design in a high-stakes industry.
  • • Day to day, you will actively leverage AI-augmented design workflows using tools like Claude Code to accelerate ideation, rapidly prototype concepts, and streamline design-to-development handoff; design, prototype, and conduct usability testing for digital financial products with a focus on optimizing complex lending and banking applications; create and maintain scalable design systems, component libraries, and interactive prototypes in Figma that ensure consistency and efficiency across product teams; utilize automation platforms such as Make to integrate design outputs with development pipelines, reducing manual effort and improving version control; collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and clients during grooming and refinement sessions to align on priorities, iterate on solutions, and ensure technical feasibility; present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders with clarity and confidence, defending decisions based on user needs, business goals, and accessibility standards; review proposed product changes against established UX guidelines and recommend improvements to maintain quality and coherence across the product suite.
  • • You will join a collaborative and innovative UX Design team within MeridianLink’s Product organization, a company dedicated to transforming financial services through technology. The team operates at the intersection of design, product, and engineering, fostering a culture where user-centered thinking drives innovation in lending and account opening experiences. You’ll work alongside passionate professionals who value experimentation, especially in emerging areas like AI-assisted design, and are committed to delivering secure, compliant, and delightful digital experiences for financial institutions and their end users.
  • • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in AI-augmented design processes, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools that are redefining how UX work is done — from prompt engineering for generative design to integrating AI outputs into Figma and development workflows. You’ll also strengthen your ability to lead design thinking in complex, regulated environments, balancing compliance with creativity, and positioning yourself at the forefront of the evolving intersection between financial services, user experience, and artificial intelligence.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in UX design, interaction design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • • Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including mastery of component libraries, design systems, advanced prototyping, and collaborative workflows
  • • Proven ability to apply user research, stakeholder input, and expert judgment to inform and validate design decisions in complex financial workflows
  • • Familiarity with AI design and coding tools (e.g., Claude Code), including structuring effective prompts and integrating AI-generated outputs into design processes
  • • Working knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Make) and their application in streamlining design-to-development handoffs and repetitive tasks
  • • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of working effectively across cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and client stakeholders

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S., offering flexibility and work-life balance
  • • Exposure to and hands-on experience with emerging AI-powered design tools and processes at the forefront of industry innovation
  • • Collaborative, inclusive team culture that values experimentation, continuous learning, and user-centered design thinking
  • • Professional growth in a high-impact role where your designs directly influence critical financial workflows used by lenders and consumers nationwide
