📋 Description

• Join Skio Inc. as a UX Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our innovative subscription management platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to ensure that our product not only meets but exceeds user expectations, driving both user satisfaction and business growth.
• As a UX Engineer, you will be at the forefront of user-centered design, actively participating in the entire product development lifecycle. This includes conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, performing usability testing, and iterating on designs based on feedback. Your technical expertise will be crucial in bridging the gap between design and development, ensuring that the implemented user interfaces are accurate, performant, and scalable.
• You will be responsible for advocating for the user throughout the product development process. This involves understanding user pain points, identifying opportunities for improvement, and championing design solutions that enhance usability and accessibility. Your insights will directly influence product strategy and roadmap decisions, ensuring that we are building solutions that truly resonate with our target audience.
• A significant part of your role will involve collaborating with our talented design team to refine and evolve our design system. You will contribute to establishing and maintaining design patterns, UI components, and style guides, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all our products. This includes working with tools like Figma and ensuring that the design system is well-documented and easily adoptable by the engineering teams.
• You will also work hand-in-hand with front-end engineers to implement and validate UI components and features. This requires a deep understanding of front-end technologies and the ability to translate design specifications into high-quality code. You will be responsible for ensuring the fidelity of the implemented UI, addressing any discrepancies, and optimizing for performance and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
• Your responsibilities will extend to conducting rigorous usability testing sessions, analyzing the results, and translating findings into actionable design improvements. This iterative process is key to our commitment to continuous improvement and delivering exceptional user experiences.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX Engineer, Product Designer with a strong technical background, or a similar role focused on user experience and front-end implementation.
• Proficiency in modern front-end development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (and frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular).
• Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability testing methodologies, and information architecture.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and technical constraints effectively.
• A portfolio showcasing a strong understanding of UX principles and successful front-end implementation of designs.
