📋 Description
- • Collaborate with UX, product, and technology partners to deeply understand the customer journey, identify potential gaps, and uncover opportunities within each user experience domain.
- • Build and develop the UX team’s knowledge base by establishing, promoting, and institutionalizing best practices in user experience design and research.
- • Conduct moderately complex business planning and project-related duties to support the delivery of high-quality user-centered solutions.
- • Maintain an exceptional standard of quality in all deliverables and hold oneself accountable for achieving excellent outcomes in UX initiatives.
- • Work in a hybrid capacity, with anticipated onsite presence at the location listed in the posting, requiring occasional travel as needed.
- • Engage in user research, usability testing, wireframing, prototyping, and iterative design validation to inform product improvements.
- • Translate user needs and business goals into actionable UX strategies that align with organizational objectives and technical constraints.
- • Document and communicate UX findings, recommendations, and design systems to cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and customer support.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of UX processes, tools, and methodologies across TIAA’s family of companies.
- • Support the onboarding and mentorship of junior UX practitioners to strengthen team capability and consistency in design execution.
- • Ensure all UX work adheres to accessibility standards and inclusive design principles to serve diverse user populations.
- • Manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities while maintaining strict adherence to timelines and quality benchmarks.
- • Participate in stakeholder reviews, design critiques, and sprint planning sessions to align UX efforts with broader product roadmaps.
- • Utilize data-driven insights and user feedback to validate design decisions and measure the impact of UX interventions.
- • Maintain awareness of emerging UX trends, technologies, and industry standards to ensure TIAA’s digital experiences remain competitive and user-focused.
- • Operate as a Non-Employee Contingent Worker employed by TIAA’s preferred third-party supplier for an anticipated term of 18 months, with potential extension based on business needs.
- • Adhere to TIAA’s policies including drug-free and smoke-free workplace standards and all applicable compliance requirements.
- • Perform sedentary work requiring prolonged periods of computer use and collaboration in virtual and in-person settings.
