📋 Description

• • Shape the digital future of government, healthcare, and mission-critical organizations. As a UX UI Specialist at Egen you will turn complex policy, regulatory, and clinical workflows into elegant, accessible products that millions of citizens, patients, and providers rely on every day.
• • Own the end-to-end design lifecycle—from discovery research and journey mapping to pixel-perfect UI and living design systems—while collaborating with cross-functional squads of Google Cloud engineers, Salesforce architects, product managers, and client stakeholders.
• • Translate dense requirements documents and legacy system constraints into intuitive user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes that exceed ADA/WCAG 2.1 AA standards and pass rigorous government security reviews.
• • Build and maintain scalable component libraries in Figma that accelerate delivery across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring every button, form field, and data visualization is reusable, documented, and accessibility-audited.
• • Conduct contextual interviews, usability tests, and heuristic evaluations with civil servants, clinicians, and end-users to uncover pain points, validate assumptions, and iterate rapidly based on evidence—not opinion.
• • Present design rationale and live demos to senior government officials, hospital administrators, and non-technical executives, translating design jargon into clear business value and measurable outcomes.
• • Champion Atomic Design methodology, establishing naming conventions, token systems, and governance processes that allow developers to ship features faster without breaking visual consistency.
• • Collaborate closely with front-end engineers during sprint planning, design QA, and staging reviews, ensuring every interaction state, breakpoint, and edge case is faithfully implemented.
• • Manage your own contractor workflow—juggling 3–5 parallel engagements—by maintaining meticulous documentation, version control, and hand-off packages that let teams pick up where you left off without friction.
• • Contribute to Egen’s culture of continuous learning by leading lunch-and-learns, sharing Figma tips, and curating a library of accessibility patterns that raise the bar for every designer in the company.
• • Influence product strategy by surfacing user insights and competitive benchmarks that inform roadmap decisions and unlock new opportunities for data-driven impact.
