- • As a Value Engineer on OpenAI’s AI Success team, you will help enterprise, education, and government customers translate AI adoption into measurable financial and operational impact, directly influencing investment decisions, renewals, and long-term expansion by quantifying the real-world value of OpenAI’s technology.
- • You will lead business value assessments for major deals, build standardized ROI and TCO models, conduct structured value discovery to identify high-impact use cases, publish executive-ready business cases, codify scalable value frameworks, establish KPIs and dashboards for tracking value delivery, partner with sales and post-sale teams to shape deal strategy, and contribute thought leadership on AI-driven business transformation.
- • You will join a cross-functional AI Success team that partners closely with Sales, Product, Solutions Architecture, and Security to accelerate enterprise AI adoption and create repeatable blueprints for successful launches and expansions, shaping how organizations measure and achieve tangible outcomes from frontier AI.
- • In this early-stage role, you will help define and build OpenAI’s value engineering function from the ground up, developing reusable assets, methodologies, and narratives that scale value-based selling across the global GTM organization while gaining deep exposure to enterprise AI strategy, financial modeling, and executive stakeholder engagement.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6–10 years of experience in value engineering, management consulting, or adjacent roles involving financial analysis and business case development.
- • Strong financial and analytical skills with proven ability to quantify and present value to executive stakeholders, including experience building ROI, TCO, and value models.
- • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with demonstrated executive presence and the ability to communicate complex AI concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences.
