- • As the Vice President of Enterprise Sales for the East region and Canada, you will step into a pivotal senior leadership role at Okta, The World’s Identity Company. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Sales, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing Okta's go-to-market strategy, driving significant revenue growth, and building a world-class sales organization. This is an opportunity to lead from the front, inspiring a team of sales leaders and account executives to not only meet but exceed ambitious targets.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to build, manage, and mentor a large, high-performing enterprise sales organization. This involves attracting top talent, fostering an inclusive and results-driven culture, and ensuring accountability and transparency across the team. You will be the driving force behind achieving substantial annual growth, defining market tactics, and evolving our field operations to maintain Okta's leadership position in the identity and access management space.
- • You will be accountable for consistently delivering and exceeding sales targets, ensuring that Okta's financial goals are met sustainably. This requires a deep understanding of sales performance metrics, the ability to identify areas for improvement, and the implementation of strategies to drive consistent success. Accurate forecasting of monthly, quarterly, and annual targets will be a critical component of this role, enabling strategic planning and resource allocation.
- • Developing and executing a comprehensive business plan is central to this position. You will need to design strategies that generate short-term results while maintaining a long-term strategic perspective. This includes defining the value proposition for our enterprise solutions and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to maximize market penetration and revenue growth.
- • A key aspect of your role will be owning the pipeline generation strategy. You will leverage market intelligence to identify new opportunities, understand competitive landscapes, and ensure Okta maintains its leadership position. This proactive approach to market engagement is crucial for sustained success.
- • Collaboration is paramount. You will provide leadership and oversight to ensure the efficient deployment of resources across the sales organization. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales engineering, channels, customer success, professional services, product, legal, marketing, and engineering, to create a seamless and exceptional customer experience from initial engagement through to ongoing support and success.
- • Furthermore, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining senior-level relationships within Okta's extensive partner ecosystem. This includes cultivating strong ties with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), resellers, and Global System Integrators (GSIs) to amplify our reach and drive collaborative growth opportunities.
- • As a key spokesperson for Okta in the East region and Canada, you will represent the company professionally and effectively in various forums. You will also serve as an executive sponsor for critical customer and partner relationships, ensuring that these high-value connections are nurtured and strengthened.
