- • The Video Teleconferencing Technician role is critical to ensuring seamless, secure, and reliable communication systems for federal, military, and government clients, directly supporting mission-critical operations through expert VTC infrastructure management.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include providing Tier I & II customer support for video teleconferencing systems, scheduling conferences using Cisco’s TelePresence Management Suite (TMS), responding to system outages by implementing failover or backup solutions, conducting remote and on-site site surveys for new installations or upgrades, and performing on-site VTC installations including network device configuration, equipment setup, and system validation.

- • In this role, the technician will deepen expertise in enterprise VTC systems, gain hands-on experience with Cisco TMS and IP-based conferencing infrastructure, develop advanced troubleshooting skills for secure government networks, and contribute to high-impact projects supporting national defense and federal operations—potentially leading to advanced technical or leadership roles in government IT or defense contracting.
🎯 Requirements
- • Active Top Secret security clearance
- • Working/practical knowledge of IP networks as implemented in VTC systems
- • Experience providing Tier I & II customer support for video teleconferencing systems
