  • • As the visionary leader for Data & Insights at Curriculum Associates, you will architect and own the company's entire data ecosystem, transforming how we leverage information to drive strategic decisions and fuel growth.
  • • This pivotal role oversees our Data & Insights Center of Excellence, setting the enterprise data vision, defining a robust strategy, and ensuring its seamless execution across critical domains: data engineering, data platforms, data governance, data quality, operations, and enterprise analytics.
  • • You will be instrumental in elevating our data capabilities from functional reporting to a modern, governed, and scalable data and analytics powerhouse, empowering every facet of the organization with actionable insights.
  • • Your leadership will ensure that data becomes a strategic asset, enabling informed decision-making, driving automation, and unlocking new avenues for business expansion.
  • • Success will be measured by the tangible improvements in data foundation maturity, enhanced data quality, widespread adoption of advanced analytics, and demonstrable business impact derived from data-driven strategies.
  • • Enterprise Data & Analytics Strategy:
  • • Define, articulate, and execute a comprehensive, forward-thinking enterprise-wide data and analytics strategy, meticulously aligned with Curriculum Associates' overarching organizational goals and future growth trajectories.
  • • Establish a clear and actionable roadmap for data engineering, governance, quality, operations, and insights generation, adeptly balancing the imperatives of innovation, speed of delivery, and unwavering reliability.
  • • Spearhead the modernization of our data platforms, embracing cutting-edge technologies such as Snowflake, Azure Data Services, or Databricks, and elevate our business intelligence capabilities with leading tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • • Data Engineering & Data Platform Leadership:
  • • Lead the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of highly scalable, secure, and dependable data pipelines, sophisticated data models, and robust integration frameworks.
  • • Own the enterprise data architecture, continuously evolving the data stack in close collaboration with our Engineering and Cloud infrastructure teams.
  • • Oversee all aspects of data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and monitoring, ensuring the timely, accurate, and consistent availability of critical data assets.
  • • Data Governance & Data Quality:
  • • Establish and champion a strong data governance operating model, clearly defining roles, responsibilities, ownership, stewardship, and comprehensive standards and policies.
  • • Implement and refine frameworks for data quality measurement, metadata management, data cataloging, lineage tracking, and controlled, secure data access.
  • • Collaborate closely with Security, Compliance, Legal, and business leaders to ensure that all data is handled responsibly, ethically, and in strict adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • • Data Operations & Platform Management:
  • • Take ownership of end-to-end data operations, with a relentless focus on system reliability, meeting stringent Service Level Agreements (SLAs), proactive monitoring, performance optimization, and achieving operational excellence.
  • • Implement and manage robust incident management, change management, and service-level processes for all data platforms.
  • • Ensure predictable, scalable, and meticulously documented data operations that effectively support all business functions.
  • • Enterprise Insights & Analytics:
  • • Lead and inspire a global team of talented analysts and insight specialists to deliver impactful, actionable dashboards, insightful reports, and sophisticated advanced analytics.
  • • Define and standardize enterprise Key Performance Indicator (KPI) frameworks, core business logic, and reporting standards to ensure consistency and clarity.
  • • Champion the adoption of self-service analytics by providing curated semantic models, governed datasets, and reusable analytical assets, empowering business users.
  • • Foster a culture of compelling data storytelling and cultivate data-driven decision-making practices across all departments.
  • • Leadership, Stakeholder Management & Change Enablement:
  • • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing, globally distributed team across the US and India, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • • Serve as a strategic advisor and trusted thought partner to executives and business leaders across Product, Sales, Operations, Finance, HR, and Customer Experience, translating complex data into strategic recommendations.
  • • Influence and drive organizational adoption of new analytics platforms and data-centric ways of working, overcoming resistance and championing change.
  • • Cultivate a continuous improvement mindset, encouraging innovation and promoting data literacy throughout the organization.
  • • Measurement & Business Impact:
  • • Define clear, measurable success metrics for data platforms, analytics initiatives, and insight adoption.
  • • Diligently track and quantify the value realization from data initiatives, demonstrating tangible improvements in operational efficiency, revenue generation, customer understanding, or product quality.
  • • Provide regular, transparent reporting on progress, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership, ensuring alignment and accountability.
