• • Own end-to-end development and maintenance of voicemod.net, including custom WordPress themes, plugins, blocks, and template systems that power all landing pages and brand content.
• • Manage the full release cycle for WordPress updates, ensuring each deployment prioritizes performance, security, and reliability without disrupting user experience or business operations.
• • Optimize website performance by implementing CDN (Fastly) configurations, caching strategies, asset optimization, and continuous monitoring of Core Web Vitals to maintain high-speed delivery.
• • Proactively identify and eliminate technical debt by migrating legacy pages from outdated frameworks into the modern WordPress architecture.
• • Collaborate directly with the SEO specialist to implement technical SEO requirements including semantic HTML structure, meta tags, schema markup, URL redirects, sitemap management, and indexation controls.
• • Build and iterate marketing landing pages for product launches, campaigns, and presales in alignment with Brand and Content teams, translating design mockups into functional, responsive WordPress pages.
• • Execute and analyze A/B tests using VWO on key UI elements such as CTAs, layouts, and copy to drive data-backed decisions and improve conversion rates.
• • Translate business requirements from Marketing, Design, Product, Legal, and Brand teams into clear, actionable technical tasks with defined scope and timelines.
• • Operate within established workflows using Notion for project definition and Jira for execution tracking, ensuring visibility and accountability across all development activities.
• • Participate in weekly team syncs, document technical decisions, and maintain clear communication with cross-functional stakeholders in English and Spanish.
• • Maintain site uptime and reliability by defining monitoring and alerting systems for critical errors, performance dips, or service disruptions.
• • Ensure all code is version-controlled using Git (GitLab) with pull-request-based review processes to uphold code quality and collaborative standards.
• • Partner with external teams to integrate third-party tools such as analytics platforms and marketing automation systems into the WordPress ecosystem.
• • Stay current with WordPress core updates, plugin security patches, and WordPress Gutenberg block development best practices to keep the platform secure and scalable.
• • Advocate for user-centered design and technical excellence by understanding the business purpose behind each feature, not just its implementation.
• • Contribute to the continuous improvement of web infrastructure by suggesting upgrades to hosting, DNS, or server configuration where applicable.
