📋 Description
- • Own end-to-end executive search for Senior Director and above across all functions globally, including critical and confidential Director-level roles requiring senior-level attention, ensuring processes are rigorous, consistent, and reflective of Legora’s high standards.
- • Build and lead Legora’s executive recruiting function from the ground up, hiring and developing a small high-performing team as the function scales to support 1,500 employees across the US, Europe, and APAC.
- • Partner with external executive search firms on the most senior leadership hires, managing relationships, briefing firms effectively, and ensuring quality and cultural alignment in all externally run searches.
- • Design and implement the infrastructure for executive recruiting at Legora, including standardized processes, assessment frameworks, scorecards, and candidate experience protocols to make senior hiring scalable and repeatable.
- • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with the investor talent community across Legora’s VC partners to proactively surface senior talent and stay connected to market-leading leaders.
- • Develop and expand an external network of senior talent across functions and geographies, building relationships proactively before roles open, not reactively after.
- • Collaborate with the broader Talent Acquisition team to elevate senior hiring standards across the function by sharing best practices, supporting complex searches, and coaching recruiters to operate at higher levels.
- • Partner with Reward, Legal, and People Operations teams to ensure offer processes for senior hires are executed with speed, discretion, and precision, meeting the expectations of C-suite and senior leadership candidates.
- • Maintain the highest levels of discretion and judgment in handling confidential executive searches, protecting candidate privacy and Legora’s reputation throughout the hiring process.
- • Demonstrate business acumen to engage credibly with CEOs, CFOs, CROs, CTOs, and other senior leaders, understanding how leadership is structured across functions and how to assess executive potential.
- • Foster a culture of development by mentoring team members, holding them accountable, and building a recruiting function that grows with the company’s ambition and scale.
- • Ensure all executive recruiting activities align with Legora’s core values: ownership over titles, excellence over intentions, and growth together as a team.
🎯 Requirements
- • Meaningful in-house executive recruiting experience at a high-growth, VC-backed company, with a track record of hiring Senior Director, VP, and above.
- • Proven ability to build and lead a small executive recruiting team from scratch, including hiring, coaching, and setting operational standards.
- • Existing relationships within the investor talent community or a demonstrated ability to build and leverage VC networks for senior talent sourcing.
- • Experience managing external executive search firms, including briefing, oversight, and performance evaluation.
- • Demonstrated discretion and judgment in handling confidential senior-level searches and managing stakeholder expectations.
- • Strong business acumen to hold credible, strategic conversations with C-suite executives and understand leadership dynamics across functions.
