📋 Description

• As a Senior Data Analyst in Marketplace Analytics & Data Science at Walmart, you will evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the Marketplace platform, supporting Business and Product teams in strategic and operational decision-making to help third-party sellers succeed on Walmart.com.
• Day to day, you will translate ambiguous business problems into data-driven solutions using SQL and Python, analyze large datasets, apply machine learning techniques, build data pipelines, create visualizations in Tableau/Looker, define and track key metrics, conduct root cause analysis, and communicate insights to cross-functional teams.
• You will be part of Walmart Global Tech, a team of engineers, data scientists, and cybersecurity experts within the world’s leading retailer, working to drive innovation at scale and impact hundreds of millions of users through technology.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in advanced analytics, machine learning, and stakeholder communication, while building end-to-end analytical products that drive measurable business impact in e-commerce and retail.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline (Master’s preferred)
• 4–9 years of relevant experience in analytics or data science, preferably in retail, eCommerce, or consumer internet
• Expert proficiency in SQL for querying and transforming large-scale structured data
• Skilled in Python for data analysis, modeling, and automation using libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and statsmodels
• Experience with machine learning, including supervised and unsupervised techniques, feature engineering, model validation, and translating outputs into business insights
