📋 Description
- • Lead the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for a digital platform serving energy utility customers, focusing on improving energy consumption transparency, customer engagement, and grid integration services.
- • Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and design teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and deliver scalable solutions aligned with regulatory standards in the European energy market.
- • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for innovation in smart metering, dynamic pricing, and renewable energy integration features.
- • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer adoption, platform usage, and energy savings outcomes to measure product success and guide iterative improvements.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders (engineering, sales, customer success) and external partners including energy providers, grid operators, and regulatory bodies.
- • Translate complex energy sector regulations and customer needs into clear product specifications and user stories that drive development priorities.
- • Manage product backlog, sprint planning, and release cycles using agile methodologies, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features with minimal technical debt.
- • Engage directly with utility customers through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to validate assumptions and uncover unmet needs in energy management tools.
- • Work with marketing and communications teams to develop go-to-market strategies, customer onboarding materials, and educational content for platform adoption.
- • Monitor platform performance metrics and customer feedback channels to identify bugs, usability issues, and opportunities for enhancement post-launch.
- • Maintain alignment with the company’s sustainability mission by ensuring all product decisions contribute to reducing carbon footprints and promoting energy efficiency.
- • Represent the product team in executive meetings, presenting progress, risks, and strategic recommendations to leadership.
- • Stay current on emerging technologies in IoT, smart grids, and energy data analytics to inform long-term product vision and innovation.
- • Ensure all product documentation, user guides, and compliance records are maintained to meet industry and legal requirements for energy data handling.
- • Foster a collaborative, data-driven product culture by mentoring junior product managers and encouraging cross-functional ownership of outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as a Product Manager in a B2B SaaS or energy technology environment
- • Deep understanding of energy utility operations, smart metering systems, or grid management platforms
- • Demonstrated ability to manage complex regulatory environments (e.g., EU energy directives)
- • Strong proficiency in agile product development methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- • Experience working with data-driven KPIs to measure product success and guide decision-making
- • Excellent communication skills for aligning technical teams with business and regulatory stakeholders
