- • As a .NET Senior Software Engineer at The Allstate Corporation, you will play a critical role in building and enhancing scalable, high-quality software solutions that support National General’s insurance offerings, directly impacting customer experience and operational efficiency.
- • You will design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using modern practices including test-driven development, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and paired programming, while owning both frontend and backend components across web and mobile platforms.
- • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical problems, mentor junior engineers, and lead incident response and root cause analysis efforts, ensuring system reliability and continuous improvement.
- • You will deepen your expertise in Microsoft technologies including .NET Core, Azure services, and SQL/NoSQL databases, while gaining exposure to AWS integration and enterprise architecture patterns, positioning you for technical leadership in a stable, innovation-driven insurance technology environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Expert proficiency in Microsoft .NET Core (C#) with hands-on experience in building and maintaining production-grade applications.
- • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including Azure DevOps, Azure Storage, Azure Messaging System, and Azure Cosmos DB.
- • Experience with JavaScript, Microsoft SQL Server, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB for full-stack development.
- • Demonstrated ability to practice test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration, and paired programming in agile team environments.
- • Proven skill in communicating technical concepts clearly and mentoring junior team members on engineering best practices and XP methodologies.
- • Experience designing scalable, maintainable systems with emphasis on simplicity, reuse, and adherence to enterprise standards.
