(Remote) Senior Product Engineer

📋 Description

• • Own the full lifecycle of mission-critical product features—from zero-to-one ideation through pixel-perfect, performant delivery—across both frontend and backend systems. You will architect, design, code, test, deploy, and iterate on features that thousands of users rely on every day.
• • Translate ambitious product ideas and Figma designs into production-grade, responsive user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. Your work will be the first thing users see and feel, so obsessive attention to detail, accessibility, and performance is non-negotiable.
• • Shape the technical direction of Peec’s platform by collaborating daily with Product, Design, and Engineering. You will scope epics, break them into actionable tasks, and drive them to completion while balancing speed, quality, and long-term scalability.
• • Contribute to and continuously evolve our shared component library and design system, ensuring every new screen feels native to Peec and can be reused across teams. You will document patterns, write Storybook stories, and mentor teammates on best practices.
• • Extend and harden our backend infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Functions, Cloud Tasks, Firestore, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ) to support new product capabilities. You will design clean APIs (REST, GraphQL, or gRPC) and integrate them seamlessly into polished user experiences.
• • Push the boundaries of what’s technically possible—whether that means experimenting with the latest AI models (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Llama, Perplexity), optimizing cold-start times for serverless functions, or introducing new tooling that multiplies developer velocity across the company.
• • Champion code quality through rigorous automated testing, continuous integration, and thoughtful code reviews. You will set the bar for maintainability and ensure every pull request raises the standard of the entire codebase.
• • Work fully remote while staying tightly aligned with a distributed team across Europe. You will communicate proactively, document decisions in Notion, and demonstrate a high sense of ownership that inspires everyone around you.
• • Contribute to open-source projects, internal tooling, and side initiatives that make Peec a better place to build software. We actively encourage hack-days, internal demos, and sharing knowledge via blog posts and tech talks.
