• • We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team, specifically to oversee and manage the accounting operations for our Polish entity. This pivotal role is designed for an experienced professional who can ensure the utmost accuracy in financial reporting, maintain strict compliance with all Polish accounting standards and tax regulations, and play a key role in the successful execution of our month-end and year-end closing processes. As a Senior Accountant, you will be instrumental in maintaining the financial integrity of our Polish operations, providing critical insights, and supporting strategic financial decision-making.
• • Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of accounting functions, including but not limited to, general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable oversight, bank reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and payroll accounting. You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring they accurately reflect the company's financial position and performance in accordance with Polish Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant tax laws. This includes staying abreast of any changes in legislation and implementing necessary adjustments to our accounting practices.
• • A significant aspect of this role involves managing the tax compliance for the Polish entity. You will be responsible for preparing and filing various tax returns, including VAT, CIT, and other statutory filings, ensuring all deadlines are met and that the company operates in full compliance with tax authorities. You will liaunt with external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to facilitate a smooth and efficient audit process. Furthermore, you will contribute to the development and implementation of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
