📋 Description
- • As a (Senior) Backend Engineer at Bunch Technologies Inc., you will play a pivotal role in building the technology backbone of private markets, enabling funds and investors to securely set up and manage investment entities through a scalable, secure platform.
- • Day to day, you will design and implement robust, scalable, and secure backend services, collaborate with Product Managers in problem discovery and solution creation, work with cross-functional teams to deliver features, and proactively address technical debt while improving team collaboration and communication.
- • You will join a diverse, energetic team at Bunch, a Europe-based tech-enabled fund administrator headquartered in Berlin with offices in Amsterdam, London, and Luxembourg, committed to innovation, inclusion, and transforming the private markets industry through AI-powered automation and deep domain expertise.
- • In this role, you will gain ownership over critical backend systems, influence the product roadmap, deepen your expertise in fintech and regulated industries, and grow as a technical leader in a fast-paced, high-impact environment shaping the future of private markets.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proficient in backend development with TypeScript or any strongly typed language, SQL databases, and frameworks like Nest.js or Spring Boot
- • Strong understanding of system design principles, scalability, and performance tuning
- • 5+ years of professional experience building backend systems in fast-paced environments
- • Experience with fintech, highly regulated industries, or document processing is a plus
