- • As a (Senior) Backend Engineer at Bunch Technologies Inc., you will play a pivotal role in building the technology backbone for private markets, enabling secure and seamless setup and management of investment entities for funds and private investors.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure backend services, collaborating with Product Managers in problem discovery and solution creation, working with cross-functional teams to deliver features, and proactively addressing technical debt while improving team collaboration and communication.
- • You will join a fast-growing, Europe-based fintech company headquartered in Berlin with offices in Amsterdam, London, and Luxembourg, serving over 500 investment structures and 10,000 investors, backed by €22.8M in funding and committed to innovation in private markets through AI-powered automation and domain expertise.
- • In this role, you will gain ownership and influence over the product roadmap, deepen your expertise in scalable backend systems using TypeScript, Nest.js, Node.js, MySQL, Kubernetes, and AWS, and contribute to transforming a high-impact industry while working in a culture of inclusion, innovation, and technical excellence.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proficient in backend development with TypeScript or any strongly typed language, SQL databases, Nest.js or similar frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot)
- • Strong understanding of system design principles, scalability, and performance tuning
- • 5+ years of professional experience building backend systems in fast-paced environments
- • Experience with fintech, highly regulated industries, or document processing is a plus
- • Excellent communication skills, team player mindset, and strong work ethic
