📋 Description

• Lead and develop a team of Tech Talent Partners in New York to scale Legora’s Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) hiring across one of its fastest-growing hubs, targeting 60 hires by year-end and over 100 engineers by end of next year.
• Own the strategic hiring partnership with New York EPD leadership, contributing to role scoping, success profiles, and hiring strategy rather than passively executing job briefs.
• Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for senior individual contributors and engineering leaders in the New York market, anticipating demand in a competitive landscape where top candidates have multiple offers.
• Establish Legora as a destination employer for top EPD talent in New York by building technical brand presence through local events, community engagement, and targeted outreach.
• Run structured, data-informed hiring processes that ensure consistent quality and pace, using pipeline metrics to guide decisions and provide hiring managers with transparent, real-time status updates.
• Uphold a high standard for candidate experience from first contact through offer acceptance, ensuring every interaction reflects Legora’s commitment to excellence and precision.
• Partner with the Director of Tech Recruiting and global TA team to align on cross-market initiatives, tooling, and process consistency across all four engineering hubs in Europe, North America, and APAC.
• Maintain an unwavering hiring bar under pressure, adapting sourcing and engagement strategies without lowering standards for senior technical roles.
• Drive accountability for outcomes—not just activity—by measuring success through quality of hire, time-to-fill, and hiring manager satisfaction.
• Operate from Legora’s Union Square office in New York City, fostering an in-person culture designed for ambitious builders with daily company-provided lunch.
• Collaborate with global teams across Europe, APAC, and North America to support international hiring initiatives and share best practices.
• Represent Legora’s mission-driven culture by ensuring recruitment practices align with core values: ownership, excellence, and growth without ego.

🎯 Requirements

• Meaningful experience managing technical recruiting teams at a high-growth, VC-backed company
• Depth to hold credible conversations with engineering and product leaders about what strong looks like at senior IC and leadership levels
• Proven experience building proactive pipelines for senior technical talent in the New York market
• Experience building employer brand presence in a local technical market through events, community engagement, or outreach
• Structured, data-driven approach to running hiring searches using pipeline metrics to inform decisions
• Unwavering commitment to maintaining a high hiring bar under pressure
